Virtual Tourist – Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 11/26/17

No mini movie review this week. We celebrate Thanksgiving on multiple days for each side of the family and fighting not to get sick with the temperature and weather changes, so never got a chance to go! 🙁

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Such Such a pretty jet plane. 🙂

Gorgeous sky!

A closeup view of the pilot. Not thrilled at augmented people but he warms up to me…eventually. 😛

Utulek Complex. One of those places that sounds great on paper but then goes horribly wrong.  Being toted as a place augs can get a new start and build their own utopia. Yeah…

Love this plane!!!! The first close up look of Utulek.

The poster says it all. Lol.

Some do try to make the place better. Not that there’s much to work with in this place.

The lost ones.

These guys are not here to “serve and protect” that’s for sure!

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and weekend!

Virtual Tourist – Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 10/8/17

Morning!

Yep, I fell off the face of the Earth again. 🙁 Peeps who go to conventions know I’m alive, but online wise, I’ve somewhat disappeared. Too much stuff going on in RL both in and out of work. Ugh!

Movie – Blade Runner 2049 – a gorgeous film with a so-so script. It’s been 30+ years, everything would NOT look the same. Fashion and objects would have changed. And if you have a set of replicants that must obey commands, why would you give them an apartment and pay them? But it was pretty!

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Such a lovely culdesac, no?

Cozy little bedroom. Lots of unique touches.

The kid fishing in the fountain is so cute! Though this fountain obviously needs some maintenance love. Poor thing.

Uhm, no, nothing creepy about this place. lol.

Oh, how awesome is that! Lovely plane.

Hidden launch pad. Definitely no neighbors!

Do love this machine. So cool!

The pilot of said craft. He’s taken some definite damage for the cause.

The boss is still acting a little shifty and is on my radar.

Let’s keep all the people in Puerto Rico, Mexico, California, Las Vegas, and more in our thoughts and prayers. It’s been a rough couple of months for a lot of people out there!

Virtual Tourist – Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 8/13/17

This month has been super crazy so far. Quarter End last month and now implementing system changes and new processes. Dealing with the fallout as we find stuff that didn’t work right. I am so tired! lol. AnimeFest is next weekend as well. Whee!

The movie this week was – The Dark Tower. While I enjoyed the film and the special effects were fab, so much was lost by them shoving everything into a two-hour movie. The flavor of Roland’s world and the intertwined and twisted mess that has worked for years to bring all this about is not there. While I like Jake, I so wanted to see Susannah Dean! lol. (Hubby has not read the series and he did enjoy the movie.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

I am so in love with how they do this city. The mix of old and new.

Isn’t that a gorgeous building?

Then you find this kind of cool futuristic architecture. So awesome.

My little helper. Super paranoid computer geek. 😛 Once was a criminal.

Back to the bombed out train station. Trying to get some evidence before it is destroyed in a cover up.

I loved the 3D hologram/modeling. He’s trying to reconstruct the bomb mechanism.

Psychiatrist assigned to check out the people at HQ. It’s hard to tell if she’s legit or not. Or maybe a little of both.

Hidden dance club. All of the customers are high as kites. If they have implants, they might also soon be dead! The new drug has some serious side effects for the augmented.

More Awesome architecture!

This advertisement was so unexpected and yet so awesome and scary! lol. This is an entrance to one of the train stations. I can so see a pharmaceutical company paying to do this for ad space. lol.

Hope you have a great Sunday!

Virtual Tourist – Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 5/21/17

Morning!

Hubby’s sick with a cold, and I am not far behind. Boo! The weather has been flip-flopping like crazy!

Taskforce 29 HQ

A cool thing the game peeps did. If your original rescue mission failed, you would not meet this guy at the office. But if you did!  🙂 I thought it was a nice touch that the game made a distinction.

Super cool 3D hologram, no? 🙂

This was funny and sad. This is Jensen’s workspace at HQ. The board pretty much says it all. Poor guy. (Not sure what’s up with the cereal boxes.) 😛

Back in the Streets

Coolest store front for a wristwatch no? I guess for these guys that would be very retro! 😛

Barb wire fences next to old castle defenses.

Meet the current head of the underground newspaper. He became a little bit of an issue as it appeared he’d gotten intel about HQ’s secret base. Not a good thing.

Down in the sewers. A super cool bit of graffiti!

The weird advertising is half the fun of walking around.

Is this not the cutest setup for a fast food burger joint? 🙂

One of the things Jensen does best. Crawling through vents! 😛

May the weekend find you dry and your sinuses behaving! 🙂

Virtual Tourist – Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 4/23/17

What a week! Still trying to recuperate. 😛 Quarter end closes for accounting types can be harsh! Ugh.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

These are the diabolical plans for a different kind of computer. Gasp! I won’t realize what this pertains to for a while.

Old world flair!

I do sometimes take pics of the weirdest things! The stretched structure is the far end of one of the many data bank vaults owned by Palisades Bank. Truly impressive buildings.

Street entry into a seemingly harmless shipping company. It’s a front/entry for the local Task Force 29 HQ. 🙂

This is the underground facility for Task Force 29.

The people Jensen works for – the Global Anti-terrorism Division.

Computer expert and super twitchy paranoid bud. lol.

Info board. You can click on the images and get intel. The board changes over time as we discover more info.

Reporting to the boss. Corrupt? We’re going to find out.

Sneaking around to get to other parts of the office. 😛

Have a great one!

Virtual Tourist – Deus Ex: Makind Divided 3/26/17

Mornings!

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Super creepy fortune teller machine at the magic shop. Futuristic but still as disturbing as these things sometimes look. lol.

Inside the lobby of Palisade Bank. Not a money bank, but a data bank. A really neat place!

This is a moving/undulating ceiling in the bank. So cool!

So posh! Like a canyon wall with a waterfall.

Neat turbine/motor system in the basement.

In the sewers. Poison gas all over the place!

An old station that’s been closed. Possibly from two years ago when the augmented went mad.

Sneaking around at a regular train station. Love the neat visual effect of the ceiling tiles.

The name of the restaurant was too funny. Love the look, though! And I’d eat there.

This was rather disturbing. No?

Hope you have a great Sunday! Next weekend

Next weekend, ChibiChains and I will be at Fan Expo 2017!  Mark Hamill! Tim Curry! Vampire Diaries guys! And I probably won’t see any of them. Heh. But will try to share cool costume pics through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Pinterest. 🙂

Virtual Tourist – Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 3/5/17

Morning, all!

Dues Ex: Mankind Divided

This picture is of something quite cool. As I was walking away from the station, I heard a conversation. It was the couple standing before the statue asking this guy to take a picture of them with their camera. What a lovely detail!

Super modern park near the data bank. You can see old fashioned buildings in the background. A mishmash of new and old.

Palisade Bank – very futuristic. Lots of imagery showing one thing but meaning something else.

Local gang boss and his underground casino. Not a nice guy. Double crosses his clients.

Customer’s blacklisted from the casino. My buddy is in the upper right. His confiscated goods are something I need.

Inside an expensive and modern apartment building. Love that lamp!

Someone is in dire need of a housekeeper!

Small park inside the apartment building. Nice, no?

Love the funky wallpaper. The weird layered deer head and the hanging ornaments was a little strange!

View from the apartment. You can see one of Palisades’ memory data storage locations. The buildings are quite awesome.

All right! Made it! Hope you have a great Sunday!

Virtual Tourist – Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 2/19/17

Ugh! Missed posting since I was at ConDFW last weekend and this time it was due to a 14 hour day at work! Boo. Hiss! Hiss!

Anyway….

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Magic shop! A cool place and also has vital info for one of the sewer adventures. 😛

Here’s a pic of the inside. Notice the magic fortune machine to the right.

The shop owner and former hypnotist.

Entrance to one of the subways. See how it’s a credit card ad? Hee!

Kidnapped and imprisoned paper forger. If you look closely at her shoulder, you’ll see she’s wearing plastic see through sleeves!

You can see them even better here. Almost looks like a mirage. 😛

Statue sitting outside one of the other subway stations. Love the clock tower!

Love that poster! lol. And the super modern look of this station.

This view is looking back at the station from the outside. Better view of the statue too!

No, he’s not dead. Couldn’t figure out a way to talk to him, though, so had to knock him out. The guy on the floor is the master brainwasher of the sewer cult.

Hope your Sunday is peaceful and fruitful!

Virtual Tourist – Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 1/22/17

Morning!

Year End work stuff has been messing up my schedule. Flip-flopping Texas weather has been messing up my sinuses. Between the two, I can’t get blog stuff done. Waaahhhh!

Dues Ex: Mankind Divided

The leader of the underground cult and a total brainwasher. He’s excellent at it.

He’s messing with my mind! I don’t entirely succumb, but it affects me plenty.

A podium with a microphone so his people can speak with him, except it’s not plugged in. He’s a nasty piece of work! lol. Need to get my inside’s fixed before I tackle the rest of this one.

Subway station. Love the movie poster. Hah! The place is segregated between naturals and augmented zones.

Inside the subway car/tram.  The sequence made me woozy, so every time I got on, I had to look somewhere else for a minute. Wheee!

Station on the other end. There are four or five locations you will take the subway to get to. Each is slightly different. This angle is from the Aug side of the station.

One thing I love about this game is all the awesome detail. Even the drink dispensers take sides. lol.

Outside the station. Gorgeous and so modern!

The plaque is about the incident resulting during the end phase of the previous game. It truly messed up the world. But could have been so much worse!

Totally loved this 3D ad for the store Tech Noir.

Have a great Sunday!

Virtual Tourist – Deus Ex Mankind Divided 1/1/17

Happy New Year, ya’ll!

Happy New Year

Deus Ex Mankind Divided

Fountain area near one of the smaller train stations in Prague. Old and new mixed together.

Check out those tattoos!

Throughout the game, you will find electronic newspapers. Gives you a peek at how some stories are getting spun and what’s going on around the world. 😛

The Time Machine is an antique book store. It’s sad to see what the hoodlums did to it. 🙁

Hidden lab and hiding place for the guy who can fix my augmentations. Black market service.

The master himself. A little weird, but knows his stuff. 🙂

Augmentation screen. All the blurred ones are augs Jensen did not know where in there. Someone has been messing with his body without consent… Again! (Poor guy)

Cool 3D image, no?

Garden in the sewers of an underground cult. These poor people are brainwashed by continuous bombardment into their heads. 🙁

Another section of the place.

Hope 2017 brings you lots of joy!
