Quenepas - a local fruit in Puerto Rico. You bite into the skin and peel off the top, then use the bottom as a cup as you suck out the fruit fiber of the large seed. YUM. Had not had these in forever!

We ate at Chili's once while in PR. This is one of several dishes with a PR flare on the menu. Ground beef with PR seasonings, ripe plantain pieces, black beans, sour cream, and avocado. Scoop it up with chips. YUM! (Wish I'd gone ahead and tried the burger with the friend plantains added!)
