The Bounty Hunter

Staring: Jennifer Aniston, Gerard Butler, Gio Perez, Joe Garland, Jason Sudeikis, Dorian Missik, Christine Baranski, and more…

Premise: Bounty Hunter gets his dream assignment when he finds out there’s been a warrant put out on his ex-wife. Knowing her like no other, he takes the job, but it ends up being more than he ever bargained for.

Review: What shone the brightest for me in this movie was the utter glee of Aniston and Butler in playing their roles on this film. It was a blast just to watch them go at it. Weirdly enough, the whole revenge angle and some of the things Butler’s character does will totally appeal to guys! His romp through her apartment had my husband and his friend howling with evil glee.

The plot ends up throwing together a bunch of different concurrent, yet unrelated complications, adding to the fun: stalker coworker, gambling debt enforcers, the mystery Aniston’s character, Nicole, skipped her court date for in the first place. And when some of these items intersect, the fun just sky rockets.

Nicole’s Mom, Kitty, played by Christine Baranski, was a total hoot!

Some slapstick, miss communications, car chases, people chases, gun fights, bar brawls, gambling, and battles of will ensue. Two people who went too fast, burned too bright, and didn’t communicate, both almost destroyed by the depth of their feelings, finally, get a clue. But will they learn anything? If you’re looking for a bit of fast paced fun, this one’s for you!
